Host Operating System: Windows Vista
Guest Operating System: Windows Server 2003
Shut down the Virtual Machine.
Goto Settings > Network. And enable Shared Networking (NAT)
Start the Virtual Machine.
Login into the Guest OS
Right Click on 'My Network Places' > Properties
Right Click on 'Local Area Connection' > Properties
Just enter the following IP in the section
'192.168.131.254'

1. Make the adapter setting to NAT
2. Remove the IPs
3. Goto command prompt and do a ipconfig /flushdns.
The internet should start working IF the internet is working on the host mahcine.
